I've always had a soft spot for garden roses. Not the stiff, perfect florist kind, but the wild, tumbling kind that spill over fences and fill an entire garden with scent. That's the energy I wanted to capture with this mug — abundant, joyful, and completely alive.
I painted dozens of tiny pink roses climbing up a clean white stoneware mug, wrapping all the way around so every side tells a different part of the story. Up close, you can see each individual bloom — some fully open, some still in bud, just like a real rose garden in June.
The warm golden detailing catches the light beautifully, and the lush green stems and leaves give the whole piece that fresh, just-picked-from-the-garden feeling.
