About TiffanyArtCanada
My name is Tiffany Roy and I live in Toronto. I started to paint and draw at an early age. Even though I got a law degree in my 20’s I’ve been more fond of drawing and painting as long as I can remember. The urge to create never left me. Consider myself a self taught artist and enjoy using a variety of medium to express my creatively. I am not bound by any single style.
Have had a long-time passion for beautifully landscaped gardens & flowers, architecture & interior design. My attention to detail, sense of style and passion for work are the basis of my approach. “That which grows from nature is always more beautiful and serene than that which is built”.
My work is a reflection of my life and natural environment around me. My work has been influenced by the Bluffs and nearby beaches and ravines where I live.
I began my artist career as an oil painter where I developed a unique and recognizable loose impressionistic style. I also enjoy using acrylics and mixed media. Much of this interest is expressed through painting; however, I also enjoy working on paper, wood to create both large and small art works.
My goal is to combine the endless beauty of flora and sea and nature an create paintings and decorative pieces that add much needed life, drama and completion to each and every room in one’s home.
I conducted painting classes at local community centre and my works were selected in Scarborough Art’s Big Art Book 2014. Occasionally I exhibit my work and conduct private classes.
